He smiled, content with himself that his jokes didn't fall just flat to the floor and she even laughed at him, in a good way. He picked his head up and in the brightest mood he'd been in a long time answered her. "Yes, love?" pulling her a bit higher on his lap with his arms still around her.

She loved his good moods, they always seemed to transfer to her. Same with his sad moods, or bad moods. Whatever he was feeling, she could feel it as well. "... You've done great, kid."

His open smirk changed into a closed sad smile, and he felt his face heat up in it's usual manner. He held in a big AWWWWWW and when his smile couldn't help but widen and show teeth once more he dropped his head to look down, closing his eyes as he did. He sucked it up and looked up at her again, slowly building up enough courage to softly recite Shwartz. The whole mood was completely changed now, it wasn't a fast transformation but it was here, and it was kind and quiet and low, but some how kind of beautiful. He didn't know where his words came from, or why he felt the need to say them, but his smile faded slight as he did. He bit his lips just for a second before he spoke. "...of all this perfect gardens perfect sights...you are the sweetest of my earthly delights..." he sang to her softly.

Just a few lines before that, she thought, And with a gentle kiss, they soon discovered this, their love was more than sister and brother. She innerly swooned as he sang to her, and she found herself blushing lightly and burying her face back into his neck. When she retracted it, she leaned up to plant a chaste kiss on his... cheek. Dammit. In the short amount of time from his neck to his cheek, she was debating where to go south to his lips or east to his cheek. And she swung east. "I love you, Emmie," she told him softly, her eyes still closed.

Blushing a dark red, he layed his once pale face into her shoulder. He groaned, very softly, and rocked his head back and forth a few times keeping his forehead on her. "Of aaaall the Mary Janes in the world..." he started, surprised he could even find words. He'd kinda flipped out in the car when she had just triiieed. Now that her lips actually met his skin he want to just melt into the sheets. "You're the Mary Janeiest."

"That's most likely a good thing, I hope," she teased, her voice not yet going out of its softness. "Well, out of all the Emmett Lloyds in the world, though I don't think there are many to begin with, you're the only one that could make my blood sugar level rise as high as you can."

"...that's a good thing, I hope?" he repeated, turning his head slightly so he could see here from just his right eye. He lowered his arms on her a bit, still keeping her in place, as he had created a sort of crib for her. Only thing was she was kind of pressed against him and he hadn't noticed what exactly was against him until now. Which was why he lowered his arms, trying to suddly get her to ease up on him a bit, so her...bits weren't forced against his own chest.

"I'm quite sure that it is," she said, moving with him as he shifted his arms. "As long as I don't go into a diabetic coma from all your sweet, sweet words." Now that she was in Emmett's arms so snuggly, her eyelids were beginning to droop. She fought to keep them open, snuggling her forehead into his shoulder. The material of his short sleeves went with her forehead, scratching against his skin.

She was becoming alot more relaxed against him and he did wonder if she was growing tired as well. He slowly twisted his body, laying back down and bringing her with him gently, with some space between them- Emmett, then Caylee. He ended on his back as before, her slightly on top of him. He didn't mind it, as long as she didn't. "So...how are your roomies doing?" he asked her softly and politely.

"Mmm, fine I suppose," she nuzzled her cheek up into his neck. She reached one arm across his front and the other between his back and the mattress, joining on the other side of him, "You feel warm, Emmie. You should take off some of your layers."

He glanced down at this torso and raised an eyebrow at himself and then to her. "...layers?" he repeated, not sure what she was thinking. "I have...a nasty undershirt...then my ...under...wear..." somehow saying the word was awkward, "My shorts...my shirt...socks and shoes... I really don't even have layers on."

"Well, I didn't want to tell you to take your clothes off!" she teased, pulling him onto his side. One hand stayed under him and above the mattress. Her other hand, quite daringly, went to his hip.

He stared at her questionably for a moment, as she turned him and then made comments about him taking his clothes off and such. Awkward, yes quite. "...Honestly I would...take off...layers...but I don't want it to be like...weird." Not that it wasn't already a bit weird.

She shrugged. "I wouldn't mind. I mean, I've known you long enough. I don't think my eyes will bleed out or anything." On the contrary, they'd probably do a dance. A happy dance.

"Oh, no no." he protested. "That's exactly what they'd do. If I saw myself, mine would do the same." he nodded, confident and assured. He tucked his moved his left arm onto his pillow, bent, putting his hand under his head. He smiled at her contently thinking of what she told him before. About staying like this the rest of the day. That would be quite wonderful. As long as she stopped talking about him wihtout clothes.
