Caylee giggled, happy by the ending. She was always a sucker for stories, and Emmett always had the best ones. He was a better actor than she was, just as she was a better singer than he was. But, she'd never tell him that she thought that. She squeezed Emmett slightly in a hug. "I'm happy for the piggy. Very good story, Emmie. A plus."

He giggled too, curling up with closed eyes from the hug, flattered by the response. "It's my new favorite." he told her, though he'd probably said it earlier.
He was wide awake now and happy she was here with him. He'd never say those exact words out loud, and it took everything in him not to just wrap his arms around her and snuggle up to her. That's how they use to be when Emmett was going through a rougher time with school and his sanity back when they were a bit younger. Though since high school started he tried not to be so clingy to her. He thought if he was it would be too much. That he wasn't giving her enough space.

"When you go out for auditions, I think you should use that piggy voice of yours," She teased. "It really suits you, you know. You cute little piggy, you." She snuggled up closer to him, the clothes she had chosen to wear weren't the best for the cold September night. "Thanks for letting me stay. It'll be the last time, I swear... for this week, maybe."

"That's um... I guess that's a compliment. 'The piggy voice suits you'. Hm..." he said just teasing her back.
"I don't mind you being here. Especially tonight when we're both stuck like this by ourselves." he pointed out. Neither of them did well by themselves. Which was why they probably were so great being together. And in all honestly he absolutly loved being held like this. Usually the positions they were in were switched around, with her stretched out on the bed, Emmett the one curling up at her side. He might even perfer it that way. And she probably knew this. He just felt beyond safe. For maybe once in the whole day.

"I wonder who my roommate's gonna be... she better not be some... preppy asshole," She scrunched her nose up. "Maybe they'll let me stay in here with you."

Emmett cackled and curled up like before at her suggestion. "Yeah- heh. That would go over well." he said with another light chuckle. He sighed, long breath in, and even longer out. "I sometimes wish though..." he admitted.
"I'm probably gonna get some... selfish frat boy. And no matter who I have we're probably gonna have some problems." The lamps... "Yeah, I'm reeeeaaally looking forward to it. Really."

"Urgh," She buried her head back into his chest. "Why don't you drag up? Become... Emma. And you'll stay in my dorm with me. And we'll be together. I don't want to live with anyone else but you." She had been to accustom to sharing a room with him up until Middle School. They knew each of their quirks. Emmie needed a night light, Caylee always needed to be facing away from the window.

"Ha! Why don't you? Grow out some facial hair, maybe s-...strap back a little." impulsively hesitating at the mentioning of any body like areas between- well you get the point. He cleared his throat and went on. "You could be my new roommate- Carl." he suggested.
"Man...they should have...sibling dorms or something." he mumbled.

"I like my idea better," She grumbled. "Well... in college they have martial dorms. They should have sibling dorms here. For needy and dependent siblings who need on-- hey wait. Since when are we siblings," She looked up at him. "We've been through this. We're not siblings, we're best friends."

"Hey." he said taking over the talking floor. "If it helps us get into a room together- we're siblings." he stated, as if it were an obvious need. He would call her sister if it meant that she could be his roommate. He hated having to share with a stranger. Though it was better than being alone. Still he was dreading the arrival of his roommate. Where ever he was.
"...the...lights not bothering you...is it?" he asked her meekly and quiet, almost slurring aswell. Though he'd asked her a thousand times like this before, he always asked.

"Shut up, it's not. Never has, never will," She teased. "And I still don't like it... siblings are people who fight and can't stand each other. We've never had a fight. We were meant for each other. So... no more of this sibling talk."

"Okay okaaay..." he sighed. He bit down slightly on his bottom lip from habit, and moved a few of Caylee's hairs into place. "......I think I'm gonna get a darker bulb for it." he spoke aloud. Right now it was a dark green and filled only about as far as the beds with it's glow. Really he'd perfer it more- he use to have to sleep with the lights on, though he could never really sleep still. Until coming and leaving here on campus, he'd fall asleep with the television on. Caylee would sometimes have to get up in the middle of the night when she finally thought it was safe and would turn it off. "Like...a purple or something..."

"What about blue?" she suggested. "Goes good with your eyes." She loved his eyes. Crush or not, she had always loved his eyes. They were a spectacular shade of blue and when he outlined it in black, they always seemed to pop out. They were amazing, much better than Caylee's eyes. She usually wore color contacts.

"Don't staaart." he begged curling on his side, now moving so he was level with her, instead of above her. His cheeks burned automaticly and he turned his face away from her. You'd think it would be something he'd be use to with Caylee by now, but really Emmett just couldn't take those kinds of complements. He couldn't even fake it- just pretend and say thank you and blow it off. He had to fight back. Another habit. A bad one.
"I'll just go with purple." he repeated. "Or maybe-" he shuddered. "No, not red. No. ...Okay I'm changing my mind. I think I want something ligh- fuck. My roommates gonna hate me."

"All the more reason to come live with me," she grinned. "You know too much about me, I couldn't hate you. You have too much blackmail material." Which was true, partially. But she knew that she had just as much on Emmett as she had on her.
