If there was anything in the way of their texting, like a crazy storm or tornato or brain eating lice attack Emmett would have certainly known about it. At least he would hope so. He knocked for a third time on the dorm door and again recieved nothing but it's echo.
Emmett closed the door behind him and kicked a pair of jeans gently off his shoe, which landed on a pair of pinkish doc martens. He admired them from place with a smirk and then continued to look around. He didn't plan to linger for long, so he made his way to Caylee's bedside. There was his answer, his eye catching the charging cell on the pillow. Emmett kneeled down to her book bag that was leaning against the small dresser. He peeled open the tight pack pocket but it didn't end his search. He bit his lip for a moment, his eyes glancing the other way as he thought over where it could be.
He tilted his head as he lifted the bed lining, but there was no sketch book. Once he was standing again he stretched his arms in the air and then held them in place, his right hand holding his left extended arm that was topped with a limp wrist. He strolled around the foot of the bed to come to the other side, now between Pru's and Caylee's. He raised a curious eyebrow and held the corner of her pillow case between his forefinger and thumb. Gently he lifted it and his teeth caught a shine from the room light, as did the spiral rings. He took the liberty of taking it under his arm and leaving with it. Before he walked out he turned on his heels and yoinked a pencil. Flipping to the last page of their journal he sketched out a reeses cup, york mint, and a crunch bar. Under he had the writing-
