Her whole mood flipped and she stared at Pru, tense and ashamed. "Y-yeah. Right. I almost forgot." she lied and moved away from her and the bed, waiting for her by the door. That was just her luck that she'd try and do what she thought was blending in or what she should do and it was completely wrong.

Pru shrugged on her peacoat and slipped her wallet into her jacket. "Thinking about my dad makes me a little homesick."

She hurried back to get her jacket, not wanting to embarrass herself by being cold later. "Thinking of your dad makes me homesick." she agreed shyly. "Then I think of my brothers and that all goes away."

"You have brothers?" Pru gave a watery smile as she opened the door of the dorm. "Lucky. I'm an only child. How many brothers do you have?"

"Threee..." she groaned. "And you can have them. Free of charge. I won't even charge you shipping." she assured her, more than happy to give them to her. Then again she wouldn't wish such life ruiners on anyone. Still the thought of them leaving her alone forever was a happy one of sorts. Not that she didn't love them...sometimes. They were just such pains.

"Wow. Three brothers. That must be so much fun, though," Pru said dreamily. "It must be like...Christmas every day! Like a big party!"

She looked at her sadly and almost didn't want to shatter her little daydream and visions. It wasn't anything close to how she described. "...I can't stand them." she admitted sheepishly, her posture slumped as she looked up at Pru with honestly but a smile.

"I guess I just have this longing for a family," she said wistfully. "...You know I don't have a mother, right?"

She nodded without another word, afraid of what awkward things she might blurt. She did remember hearing it mentioned before, though. So she did know that part. She wasn't sure about the siblings thing though. Now she knew how Pru had never experienced the hell of brothers.

"My parents never really had time to have another kid, besides me," Pru said. She began to walk out, beckoning Marc to follow. "My parents were always so involved with their music."

She made sure the knob lock was turned and then closed the door, twisting it just to double check before catching up with her roommate. "Well, my brothers weren't good for much." she told her, hoping that would make her feel better or something. She just didn't know exactly what to say to things like that. People usually didn't tell her stuff like that.

"Are they younger or older?" Pru asked. "Personally, I've always wanted a big brother."

"Willie is two years older than me, the twins are two years younger." she answered, and thinking about them made her want to duck and take cover. "And Will isn't exactly the commercial older brother. He's sadistic." she assured her matter of factly.

"Sadistic? Really? How?" Pru frowned. They made their way out of the dorms and off campus towards the convenience store as they walked. Pru had her hands shoved in her pockets.

"I think he somehow got the terms 'little sister' and 'entertainment doll' confused or something." she stated with a nod, showing all seriousness as she spoke of him and his evil ways towards her growing up.
